Welcome
Our Club is a non-profit organisation.
We have approximately 100 members, of which approximately 60 are
competitive swimmers. The swimmers in our club are between the ages of
6 and 30 years of age. We also have members who are swimmers with
disabilities. Our main objective is to promote participation and
activity in the sport of swimming.
Our club members participate in 13
inter-city swimming meets, 2 local inter-club swim meets and 9 in-house
club nights each season. At the swim meets that we co-ordinate we have
had up to 330 visiting swimmers participate. The Gladstone Harbour City
Swim Meet, which we host annually on the Australia Day weekend, is a
premier swim meet of Central Queensland.
In 2008, Rhiannon Oliver became
our club's first Australian Paralympic team member, please read about Rhiannon in
